A Weekend Away | Photo Session

It was truly a joy to photograph this family during their autumn weekend away from the city. We photographed them on the gorgeous hotel grounds at Crystal Springs Resort in northern New Jersey.

These adorable boys reminded Michael and me so much of our boys at this age. We love photographing preschoolers. First of all, they’re always fun to be with. Furthermore, I love their authentic expressions and pure emotions. They almost always don’t have time to sit for a photo – they’ve got things to discover and places to explore.

These parents are so loving and playful it felt like an engagement session! Certainly why their boys are so sweet and so affectionate.
