How did we fall in love with lifestyle photography?

First we fell in love with each other,

and then we had our own family…

My husband, Michael, and I have been working together photographing families for over 10 years. We love to document the beauty in the everyday and mark the milestones of your family’s growth by capturing you and your family in photographs together…as you are…in your home…to remember just that day…that moment.

We spend time at your home so everyone is comfortable with us by the time they are in front of the camera…we work to have YOU BE YOUR BEST, RELAXED AND SHARING A MOMENT THAT WE CAN CELEBRATE IN PHOTOGRAPHS. Michael will be the one behind the camera, and I will help guide you through the session.

After your session we will meet again for your Session Premiere where I’ll help you choose the images for your wall art and help you design keepsake art that TELLS YOUR STORY BEST.

MOST OF ALL, WE WANT YOU TO HAVE FUN…we find that when our clients can relax and enjoy the experience, we are able to get the most wonderful of images…so let’s get started! Just click on Contact and send me a quick note so we can set a date!

ANGELA – ART DIRECTOR & PHOTOGRAPHER

Capturing life’s little wonders in special moments and all the days in-between. That’s exactly what I love about photographing people. Capturing this very wonderful moment in your life – your growing family, pregnancy, newborn, little ones, daily life, and then… high-school seniors – your story and your family’s story, to have forever.

My love of photography began when I was very young. And I felt like the luckiest girl in the world when in 8th grade I got my first camera! When Michael and I met in our twenties we would go on dates with our film cameras and then develop the film together in the darkroom. Having only 36 images on a roll of film and not having computers with Photoshop was a great foundation for our work.

I was born in Maine, raised in New Hampshire, spent a few years in Virginia where I met the man of my dreams. We married in the Autumn of 2000 in a beautiful and fun wedding in New Hampshire. We moved to Nyack, New York in 2001 and had two incredible boys. In 2004 we bought our fixer-upper home, our forever home, in the village of Warwick, NY where we are living our happily ever after each and every moment.

MICHAEL – PHOTOGRAPHER

I’ve been photographing people, places and things for over 30 years. Way back at the beginning, I saved my paper route money to buy my first camera, a Minolta SRT-201, and darkroom equipment at the age of 12. Grandparents, siblings, cars and trains, and the surrounding environment in my hometown in western Pennsylvania were my first photographic subjects. Observing human nature with my camera has been my life-long fascination. My formal photographic training began in 8th grade and continued through my experiences as Yearbook Photo Editor at Beaver Senior High School and into college at The University of Chicago where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences. Two of my favorite courses at Chicago were not surprisingly both in Photography. My photographic practice and training continued throughout the middle years at The Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., and The International Center of Photography in New York City. At the age of 30, I traveled to Missoula, Montana and spent the summer attending The Summer Intensive Program at The Rocky Mountain School of Photography. Today, I enjoy photographing my growing family and families like yours.
