Family Session | Wawayanda Lake

Every year, for ten years we’ve looked forward to photographing this family at their home. We’ve loved seeing their kids grow up. This year we changed it up and photographed them at Wawayanda Lake. While walking by the lake we learned that the mom had lost her engagement ring and wedding band that morning. They had fallen off without her realizing it at her son’s soccer game because her hands were freezing. She didn’t know they were missing until she got home. Her husband went back to the soccer field and someone had found her engagement ring! But her wedding band was still missing. He retraced her steps at the field and he found her wedding band on the ground! She was so thankful to have them again, and before their photo session! It may have started out as a bad day but it ended with a gorgeous walk on a perfect fall day.
