Photography Enrichment Class for Kids

We had another fun adventure teaching photography to the great kids at our children’s elementary school! This is our fifth consecutive year volunteering after school! The class is one day a week for 4 weeks. The kids learned about the way things used to be by checking out our collection of antique cameras and film cameras. Michael created slide shows with examples of inspiring photography and types of photography. Then the kids got to take images with our cameras and their own cameras. Michael reviewed the images with each child to tell them what was great about each one. This year we displayed one of each child’s images as an 8×12 in the lobby of their school. They are very proud that their art is on display! We always have a great group of kids in photography class! The kids love the enrichment classes offered and we love giving back to the kids at the school we love!
